Staff Spotlight: Lisa Schuster

Published on Oct. 11, 2024

Lisa Schuster is the director of national development for the Case School of Engineering. Her role supports the philanthropic priorities of the school by meeting and engaging alumni and friends around the country during face-to-face visits.

What makes you most excited about joining CSE?

I'm very excited to be a part of a larger institution compared with my last role. I was previously at Oberlin College for 16 years. The amazing things happening on campus, as well as the successes of our alumni, is something to be very excited about.

So far, what is your favorite thing about CWRU?

My favorite thing is the energy I can feel from everyone at the School of Engineering, as well as from the rest of the university! It's an exciting time to be here as we enter our bicentennial celebration and a new campaign.

Share something about you! Your hobbies, favorite restaurants or Cleveland spots, a recent book you've read. Anything!

My husband and I like to get out and about in Cleveland! We take in sporting events from all of the major league teams, like to attend concerts, and always enjoy a good meal with drinks.
